Does Troy Jackson think the war in Gaza is a genocide?

On July 9, 2026, he posted: "Anybody with eyes and a heart knows that Israel is committing genocide in Gaza. It has to end, and we as Americans have the power to end it."

In the same post he made a promise about his vote: "When I'm in the U.S. Senate, I’ll never vote in favor of US taxpayer-funded military aid to Israel."

Troy believes the U.S. government has a responsibility to not enable the suffering in Gaza.

On September 25, 2026, he started a thread with family: "After Benjamin Netanyahu, who I believe is a war criminal, just came and went from New York, I’ve been thinking a lot about the world my first granddaughter is about to enter."

Then he wrote: "No child should have to grow up wondering whether the next bomb is going to hit their home. No parent should have to wonder whether they can feed their kid or keep them alive. And American taxpayer dollars should not be used to keep fueling that suffering."

He ended with what he would do: "When I get to the United States Senate, I’m going to do everything in my power to stop the killing, get humanitarian aid to the people who need it, and stop writing blank checks for endless wars."
