Jackson Launches “Families For Troy” And Campaigns Across Southern Maine

MAINE —  Fifth-generation logger, former Maine Senate President, and Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate Troy Jackson took to the campaign trail on Sunday, launching a new coalition and joining the Maine Democratic Party for canvass launches in Kennebunk and Sanford.

The new coalition, Families for Troy, highlights support from educators and families who praise Jackson’s efforts in the Maine legislature fighting for issues affecting the next generation of Mainers, like universal school meals, lowering child care costs, and securing paid family leave.

In the morning, Troy launched his new coalition, Families for Troy, alongside parents, educators, and kids at a local library in Portland.

Troy joined the Maine Democratic Party in Kennebunk for an office opening alongside supporters and volunteers, highlighting the important work being done on the ground, knocking doors across Maine. 

Closing out a weekend of campaigning across the state, Troy stopped in Sanford for the Maine Democratic Party office opening and canvass launch.
