NEW AD: Mainers Highlight The Cost Of Sending Trump’s Rubber Stamp Back To Washington

Maine Voter: “I mean, we all know that a vote for Susan Collins is a vote for Donald Trump”

PORTLAND, ME —  Today, Troy Jackson for Maine launched a new ad, “Majority Maker,” with Mainers sharing their concerns about Susan Collins returning to the U.S. Senate to continue being a rubber stamp for Donald Trump and giving Republicans control of the Senate. The ad highlights Collins’ record voting to advance Medicare cuts, confirming Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court who went on to overturn Roe v. Wade, and enabling Trump’s senseless war in Iran that’s spiked costs for Mainers across the state.

Sandra: It comes down to us.

Colleen: If we send Susan Collins back to Washington, Trump has a majority in the Senate.

Sandra: He'll have total control again.

Colleen: She votes with Trump 96 percent of the time. That's a lot.

Kyle: She was the deciding vote to cut Medicare.

Sandra: The deciding vote for Trump's Supreme Court nominees who overturned Roe v. Wade.

Kyle: If we send her back, it'll mean more cuts to health care.

Colleen: Higher costs, and more war. I mean, we all know that a vote for Susan Collins is a vote for Trump.
