Troy Jackson for U.S. Senate in Maine

PRESS RELEASE

Troy Jackson Raises $20.4 Million in Q3 From Nearly 200,000 Individual Donors

Jackson raised more than 4X as much from Mainers as Susan Collins; nearly 95% of contributions were under $100

MAINE — Troy Jackson’s campaign for U.S. Senate raised $20.4 million in the third quarter, powered by nearly 200,000 individual donors and contributions from all 16 counties in Maine. Jackson raised more than four times as much from Mainers as Susan Collins during the quarter, underscoring the grassroots energy behind his campaign to put working people first in Washington.

The campaign received nearly 350,000 contributions during the quarter, with nearly 95% under $100.

“Working people are tired of a Washington where the people writing the biggest checks get everything they want, while the rest of us struggle to get by,” said Troy Jackson. “I know what it’s like to work hard and still worry about paying the bills. That’s who I’m fighting for, and that’s who’s powering this campaign. I owe Donald Trump and the billionaires nothing. I owe the people of Maine everything.”

Jackson’s third-quarter fundraising by the numbers:

  • $20.4 million raised

  • Nearly 200,000 individual donors

  • Nearly 350,000 contributions — and nearly 95% of all contributions were under $100

  • More than 4X as much raised from Mainers as Susan Collins

  • Contributions from all 16 counties in Maine

A fifth-generation logger from Allagash, Jackson has spent his career fighting for working people. In the Maine Legislature, he helped lower prescription drug costs, deliver universal school meals, pass paid family and medical leave, and protect abortion rights. He’s running to bring that same fight to the U.S. Senate.
