MAINE, USA — Fifth-generation logger and Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate Troy Jackson spent the final hours ahead of Election Day alongside Mainers, attending canvass launches across the state and closing out the night in Portland at a meet and greet with supporters.

“It’s not too late to use your voice and make a difference in this election,” said Jackson. “Find your polling location and make a plan to vote. Our state could be the difference in this election, whether we have a Senate that enables Trump’s harmful policies, or one that stands up to Trump and fights for working people. It’s time for change, Maine.”

Troy started the day in Yarmouth, rallying volunteers and supporters as they prepared to knock doors and get out the vote.

In Scarborough, Reproductive Freedom For All President Mini Timmaraju highlighted Troy’s work as Maine Senate President to protect Maine women’s access to reproductive care after Collins’ decisive vote to confirm Brett Kavanaugh led him to overturn Roe v. Wade.

Troy stopped in at a canvass launch in South Portland in the afternoon sharing words of encouragement with volunteers and thanking them for their efforts.

To close out the night, Troy held a meet and greet with supporters at Bayside Bowl in Portland.
