NEW TV AD: Troy Jackson Fights For Everyday Mainers Struggling To Get By In Trump, Collins’ Economy
PORTLAND, ME — Today, the Jackson for Maine campaign released a new TV ad highlighting the fifth-generation logger and former Maine Senate President’s deep roots in the state and his commitment to fighting for everyday Mainers against a system rigged in favor of corporations and billionaires.
In the ad, “Broke,” Troy speaks directly to voters struggling with shrinking paychecks and growing bills as someone who experienced the same thing. Growing up in small-town northern Maine, Troy understands the feeling of working hard and doing everything right but still falling behind – and he’s ready for change.
“People in this country work so damn hard and still feel so damn broke. That’s no way to live,” Jackson says. “Susan Collins keeps telling us that everything’s fine, but we know it’s not. We all have eyes…You deserve better.”

I’m a fifth-generation logger from Allagash. I grew up a poor kid in a town full of poor people doing everything right and still struggling to get ahead.
And it’s worse now. People in this country work so damn hard and still feel so damn broke. That’s no way to live. Susan Collins keeps telling us that everything’s fine, but we know it’s not. We all have eyes. Paychecks and bills, we know we’re getting screwed. You deserve better.
I’m Troy Jackson. I’m running for Senate, and I approve this message.
